I think there's a pretty large geographical as well as societal difference between the circumstances of you still having your license and me not having mine.

Hmm, Let's see. I am not so sure about the miserable little lives bit. Happily married to a woman who is nothing if not adventurous in bed, living in a large house in the nice part of town with a mostly paid mortgage, have three cars and a vacation home in Florida. I have a lot of friends and family and generally like my life.

So if given the option of living in a third world country with inadequate healthcare facilities and raging poverty I think I am going to have to pass. From what I know of Panama, I don't blame people for being high or drunk all the time. It is a second rate place to live.

Oh and if you don't plan to make it to 30 - too bad. I have had some of the best times of my life since I turned 30.

It's all relative; to each his own.

I don't know about inadequate healthcare, although I'll be honest and say most of the population lives under bad conditions. It's a great place to live, if you've got money. Not even tons of it; just enough. Hell, if you've got enough money you can literally get away with murder... not that I would know anything about that :P
