It looks better right side up. Seeing it upside down on the side of the road looked kind of scary. I didn't realize it was a BMW until I saw the wheels. The thought crossed my mind to get my camera, but I would have felt bad if someone was hurt in there It didn't seem right. Glad that wasn't the case

Sorry to hear about the wreck Kyle, car looks mangled. Nice sleeper you had there though, reminds me of my dads old non-VANOS '84 318 ;) You can pickup another chassis and have it alive in no time.

Originally posted by M-technik-3Any damage to the engine? Oil pan and so on? Pics of it would help your sale. I see an exhaust and radiator of to the side leaning on the house.
There is no damage to the engine, knock on wood, that i know of. I thnk some fuses blew because NOTHING happened when I turned the key, not even the fuel pump came on.
That stuff against the house is from four months ago, the shit i pulled off along with the m10.
If there are any good condition e30s for sale in Georgia that have a damaged engine lemme know.
I thnk the raditator is broken, but it may have just been my res tank that spilled.
Thanks guys, I cannot wait to get back into an e30 though, I learned my lesson though, I will be buying that does not need quite as much work as this one did.

Originally posted by kylebes1I will take some pictures tommorrow when the wrecker takes my car to my shop in town.
I know every racer's ABS is the right foot, but I should have already replaced my brake lines. They are what I am blaming on this.
Not the fact that I was doing 75 over a blind hill, stupid on my part.
Did not see the little honda doing like 30 in front of me until i crested the hill.
While most of the car's weight was in the air I nailed the brakes, mistake one.
Lifted off some to try to get the fronts back, and the rear came around the right side quickly there after.
The soft shoulder on the side saved me, slowed us down alittle. As we slide backwards I thought to myself it was over, but not quite. Slide toward the row of new pine trees. bumped one that put me into a fast spin toward another, that caused the car to flip.
The front of the car is facing the road and the rear passengerside is heading for a tree, probably still going 30mph.
When the tree hit in the rear, a 1 foot diameter pine, that was it, we stopped.
I was hanging upside down with my best friend by my side. the first good decision i made was to wear the seatbelt, as I ALWAYS do.
first thing i think of is fire, I had just filled the tank up about 10 miles before. So I hit the seat belt button. My friend could not gget his unhooked so he slide out somehow. I thought about the handle for half a second and kicked the window out. my buddy just opened his door and crawled out (I could have done the same but getting out was priority)
We jump out and all is well, except that my car was parked upside down.
Later Rob, my friend, told me he was laughing when i hit the ceiling after undoing my seatbelt. :?
The only thing I remember while spinning is "this cannot happen to me...."
So peace for a while, I will get back into an e30 one day soon, but right now I am driving my 04 Explorer.... slowly.
