When I first went over to Skafrog's (Rob's) house.

He had just gotten his Calypso E30. The car looked so great.... sporty, elegant. Then I saw his Step-dad's e28, and then his Mom's E32. I loved the fact that they had all three series is consecutive year order. Rob started wrenching on his car pretty quick and eventually it became I car that I love looking at every second it's around me. After a couple of mods, his car was as fast as my GTi. His step Dad then wrecked his e28. So, he got a e34 540i. This car further made me love bmws. But, it will always be Rob's E30 that makes me love BMWs....

The first time I gave an 80's BMW a second look was when I worked at REI and noticed a blue M6 parked outside. I couldn't stop staring at it. I started liking e30s when I was looking to buy my own car and saw one for sale on a street corner. I started doing research and by the time I bought mine I had the e30 bug bad.

owned an E36 318is, bought Feb 5th, 2004, sold June 20th, 2004. Beautiful, prefect, solid handling, but It was SO slow compared to the 6cyls! I could have used some extra loot at the time, and figured, what the hell, why not buy an E30, they're cheaper, and I'm in college. Fell in love with it. I hate it because it's older and there are far more things wrong with it, but it's a fucking blast to drive, and I could never have gotten a rush like this out of my old E36.
