50k USD to spend on a car...

Hypothetical question time boys. I'm bored, induldge me.

You are given $50k USD cash to spend on a new car, what do you pick?

Here are the requirements: It has to be a 2004-2005 Model year. It has to be available in North America (For the aussies, you can use mainland OZ), and it has to be street legal. You can obviously spend under 50k, but you can only purchase one car, so no "I'd buy 5 aveos and chain them together to go train racing", although that would be fun.

What do you pick? I wanna hear some responses, I'll post my idea later.

    -Charlie

              Someone can't follow directions.

              As for my choice?

500 hp, 525 ft/lbs. Fed through a 6 speed box to a live axle. $45k. Obliterate e46 M3's on the track and still have space for track tires and tools.

              You know you want one.

$52000, but I'm sure could be bought with less than 10k for less.

You can have your slushbox with 370 hp that eats sparkplugs and heads.

Charlie, you said I was given $50K, you didn't say it couldn't be more. I could possibly pool my bank accounts and get that much borrowing a little from friends. Plus, coupe is less.

You and your love of big trucks from the company whose emblem looks like a vagina and every vehicle is a large penis. Well, unless someone IS giving you $50K, keep working hard in school and you can get one one day. ;)

dude are you trying to make a crack at this kid after saying that you need to pool your bank accounts and borrow from friends collect about 2K? If this is the case buddy you might have to take a seat next to Charlie in class.

What Avi? Dude, I'm in college......you know that thing where you should be too busy studying to work and make $$$.....and it's not like I saved up a lot of money either.

Maybe you're a baller. I'm not. If I had $2K in the bank, I'd be drinking vodka that is better than $8 a fifth.
