So you go buy one, strip all the Ponitac and GTO badging off, replace it with Holden Monaro badging, and then go cruise around and confuse the fuck out of everyone.

Insanely modified new Mini Cooper S, would make a very fun daily driver.

I would love to shorten/modify an Evo MR chassis/driveline and plop a Mini body onto it. I wonder if that can be done for under $50K...

The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Saw one on the road the other day. What a seriously badass truck. It had some of the biggest brakes I've ever seen on a production vehicle.

The handling capabilites of this car STOCK will flat-out WALK AWAY from just about anything in the corners. The power has gone from 260 bhp to 320 and 305 lbft of torque, and that's still from the turbo'd 4-cylinder. The hood and the roof are made of aluminum, shaving almost 30 lbs. off the car, and the rear wing is carbon fiber. On this car, the Active Center Differential and the Active Yaw Control remain engaged even while the car's ABS is activated, unlike the previous EVO. The EVO VIII MR will out-accelerate the BMW M3, Porsche 911, and the Honda NSX.

I will have to agree with eurospeed on this one...I'll take the Evo MR. Even over an Elise or a no options M3. If I had driven an evo before I bought my e46 I would have gotten the MR.
