It's probably stupid and poitless, but how about putting them BELOW the bumper?
Would look cool, just not sure about the light output.
But since - in theory - the beam should be aimed upward a bit, then putting the lights below the bumper (flipped - mounted form above) should make the light kind of flood the street - could be nice as fog-breakers...
Or am I missing the point?Comment

well, I've messed around with the prototype and drilled 2 more holes into it, so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to sell it, but I'll get you a good deal on a nicely made one that should fit perfect. Now that I now whats needed to make one I'll just start making a bunch.

But I don't want one that fits the way your new ones do, I want the lights further back like the original setup... :('89 325is S50 Track Montser

Hmmm, that actually looks pretty good. I think the lights would look really good below the bumper too, but I don't know how the light dispersion would be that low. Pending price, I'm down for one :)Comment

the bar would hold that just fine, its not going to flex or bend, but i don't know how well the bumper would hold that weight, I would think it would hold it fine but I can't be 100% sure.
