Hella 4000's should fit fine, I would just tilt them forward before you open your hood because they are thicker.

the kit would be about $35 more with 4000's.

The metal I ordered arrived today, I'm making 2 brackets tomorrow and the next day, they are made with a few mm smaller O.D tube and weigh much less. The bolt that comes with the hella 500's will need to be shaved a few mm's off the length or a washer needs to added under it.

They will only be $65 +shipping.
I will test fit them on my car to ensure they fit before painting them and shipping them out.
