I'd think it'd be a good idea to put the lights in front of the bumper instead of in front of the grill to avoid that sort of issue entirely.Leave a comment:

Well I finished it today, it looked great but then.....I opened the hood, and its way to close to open it. So I'm making a new design that sits a little lower and is adjustable so its always sitting straight.I wasted my day.Leave a comment:

For me personally I am looking for something I can leave on and have it installed semi permanent. Having a FIA WRC style rally light system I wouldn't really want to drive around with that on the front of my car.
If I am going camping @ The Dragon with E30 friends I would install it but most of the time it would be sitting in the garage.Leave a comment:

This too:

But seriously, good stuff. I may have to make one for myself that brings the lights back closer to the grille.
Remember Tom Green's undercutter's pizza? Well I'm going to undercut your price on these since I get free materials.Leave a comment:

well I got a lot more work done today, stability bar is made just need a little more adjustments(looks sweet), tabs are made(pain in the butt!), everything is measured out, just need to weld the license plate tabs on then find out wether I want to weld the stability bars on or have them be removable.
I plan on selling an entire kit which will include wiring,on/off switch, lights, covers and the mounting bar(basically everything you would need).Leave a comment:

I read this and thought it was stupid, but after looking at it I kind of like it. How about a 4-light bar across the top of the bumper? Driving lights aren't as effective when they're below the bumper.

depends, the 88 boards are shorter. I would just have them mount without pressing on the grill, that way people dont have to worry if their shit is tucked, or if they have the shorter 88 bumpersLeave a comment:
