the new hole is only 1mm lower, and the light now sits about 1mm lower and little more forward, it not a noticeable difference until you open the hood.
    pics

its just enough to clear the hood.

yes, actually you could, I never thought of that, but the angle of the light would change because the angle of the holes is not centered(on purpose).

But since - in theory - the beam should be aimed upward a bit, then putting the lights below the bumper (flipped - mounted form above) should make the light kind of flood the street - could be nice as fog-breakers...

Or am I missing the point?

That looks really good. (honestly, a LOT better than I had imagined it would) How much are you thinking, ballpark? Just curious.

I'm making one out of some smaller round tubing, and its going to be not so bulky looking without sacrificing strength, it will have 4 attaching points so it should be sturdy with out putting to much stress on the car.

I don't think its in the way, but this is just the prototype so I will move them in if needed.

Photo is not straight on and the highs just scatter light. Don't believe this will be an issue.

I say make 25-30 each. Maybe even make 50 each. Depends on how much your time is worth to you :)

yeah I don't know how much to charge for labor, this one took me a while to make because it was the first one, to make it I have to weld, cut, drill, grind, measure, and test fit. Whats a fair price that you guys would be willing to pay, it really is a super sturdy piece, it wont bend, flex or anything. I'll add up what it costs for me to make one and I'll try to give a fair price without feeling like I'm doing a bunch of work for only $5 of profit.
