Ya Ryan I just got everything in today. Haven't started it up yet. I had to add 2 wires to the c101 and run another wire from the Green wire off the coil to the White c104 plug on the Engine harness. In 88 bmw decided to do away with this plug and run it threw the c101 so I had to add wires so my 87 engine harness would work. I'm going to fire it up tommorow, bleed the brakes, and Wait for my driveshaft bolts to come in so I can take it for a drive.

Well I took pics but they all turned out Horid. But I've found a couple nice factory items that will work cutting down costs, Like an 87 325e driveshaft bolts right up.

That right there makes this a awesome swap. Ely found gold with that info.

I paid $150 for a used e30 m3 DS that I then paid $600 to have rebuilt, shortened and reballanced.

Ely, what numbers do you think a b35 m30 will make with a chip, intake and exhaust?

I thinking this swap will beat a m50 swap $$$ wise to all hell.

Well I got the Engine running just 5 mins ago. Ya Mine will be under $3200 once done, right now I'm at $2900 but still need the exhuast welded up.

Awesome Ely!! Glad to hear you got it to run. which terminal did the blk/yel wire go to, pos or neg on the starter? I think it was neg as I think I had it working with just grounding it elsewhere...
How does the motor run? good compression and everything? this is a 3.2L right?

That's bitchin' Ely. Serious power & torque for what I consider a very reasonable sum. Good job getting it to run too :up:

Which ever terminal the black/Yellow came off of, negative I believe. It runs great for the minute total it's run and 3.2 correct. Idle was nice and smooth right at 750 rpm's.
