    Free metal, free fabrication.. what do you make?

    I am taking a metal fabrication class at The univ. and I need to come up with a final project. I need to fabricate something 8 or less hours of work. Wondering what Ideas people had.

    Chassis braces....
    Skid Plates....
    Strut braces....

    Plenumbs... I dont know what seems like the best IDea?

    rear strut tower brace with battery re-location box for the 2002

      I'd build myself a mandrel bent, 3" single exhaust with v-band clamps for easy removable. :p

        I am taking a machining class, thinking about making a strut bar. Not so much machining there is to it tho... for the mounting plates maybe, the rest is welding.

        Aluminum trim pieces?:D Shift knob, e-brake handle, etc?

              I cant machine stuff Only metal working bending c utting welding etc.

                            i always assumed that there was a considerable amount of materials engineering for sways. if they could do the job fab'd out of billet or stock, that would be pretty cool.

                              I am in need of a plenum for the m20! trying to put together a setup similar to the DASC setup, that would awesome!!
