When you push start the car, your body is grounding it and allowing the current to pass to the spark plugs.
Try cranking it over with a friend standing behind the car with his hands on the trunk lid. Sounds wierd, but I swear it will work!
:) Just kidding! Good luck figuring it out, sounds like a very strange issue.

but this would not be dirtbike style. it would need to be spring loaded or something so it hops off the crank when it spins but grabs when you kick it.Originally posted by Beej '86 325esevery time an M-tech 1 spoiler is destroyed, a baby seal dies.87 325:83 jetta coupe:99 volvo c70:99 volvo s70Originally posted by JparkrThe last thing we need are more of the retards on here thinking they are engineers too.Comment

still not dirtbike style. i would love to see someone with a lil kick start haning out from the fender and everytime they start the car, they just pop the little start out and crank on it a few times. lolOriginally posted by Beej '86 325esevery time an M-tech 1 spoiler is destroyed, a baby seal dies.87 325:83 jetta coupe:99 volvo c70:99 volvo s70Originally posted by JparkrThe last thing we need are more of the retards on here thinking they are engineers too.Comment
