Im not going to do anything to his car. I dont want to get caught I just want to catch him So I can have him own up to it.

Some kids from a car threw eggs at me while driving the opposite way, i flipped a bitch quick and chased em...got the make n model + license plate number....asked my cop uncle if i can do anything about it...he told me to fuck with them back...cuz can't do anything the police way without any evidence...cuz i washed the eggs off ASAP. so he ran the plates....gave me the address....found the car...and sent a 10 or so lb. rock thru the back window....also went back to check out the damage i did the next day...and decided it wasnt enuf so i Donkey kicked his door in.

Cop relatives ftw. My buddy's dad is a sheriff. He's an asshole, but is similar to your uncle. Someone messed with my buddy's car, we got some info, his dad ran it.... We destroyed all sorts of shit though, GTA style. No windows, headlights, tails, dents, dings, all sorts of fun stuff.

That or the cop who lives around the concer from my friend who likes to play human speed gun. I went around a concer AT 25 (the speed limit) and down shifted into second. The car rev jumped up and he was standing outside, he chased me to my friends and started yelling about me slowing down. I explained that I was doing 25. He told me it wasn't possible, I laughed because I have done over 35 through the concer, we then got into a fight over me doing the speed limit. It was funny but now the cops hate my e30.

This is the most reasonable idea so far. Just set up a camera so you dont have to sit around every night. Then confront him/get police involved.

I get what you're saying, but still. I went to the police station and asked what I could do if I had a phone number and license plate of someone I knew vandalized my car in the hour window that I was gone but I had not technically witnessed it. They can't do shit. Maybe have someone call him and question him, but then he denies it and it's your word against his.

I'm not sure if I would post up on an internet forum all of my retaliation stories if I did serious vandalizing, but if I were a cop and one of my friends had a story like that I'd probably run their plates for them knowing how useless the justice system is in a situation like that.

The way I put it, or see it however; don't fuck with another man's car. It's just not right, but when they initiate the ordeal by fucking with your car first, then anything is fair game to me. I'll break all the fucking windows and lights, slash all the tires, and spray paint the whole interior if someone messes with my or a family member's car and if knew who it was.
