Ohio: White X-mas 325ix style

Yeah, we woke up to a whole ton of snow yesterday. We now have more snow on the ground from the past two days than we have had in the past five years. Pretty crazy.





Thats not even all the snow we have. Thats just the snow that accumulated from behind our house. We have a foot and a half, probably close to two feet.

As far as the 325iX goes, its a beautiful car. My first winter with an iX. My father has a Explorer Sport Trac, 4X4... it got stuck in our driveway. My older brother has a Ford Escape AWD, it too got stuck. The 325iX? Nope. I just went, not flying or revving like crazy, it just went.

I've been following the weather that's been nailing you guys. Pretty messy stuff. Very cool to hear the iX outperformed the family SUVs when it came time to move the cars.

I'm sure your dad & bro were kinda :curse: watching you drive off.

I hear ya, down here in cbus we got slammed! No ix, just an m3, busted up 318is and a 533 with snow tires

I, too, was suprised, but at my open-diff-sporting lowered 325i. I made it through 9-10 inches of snow. I feel like I deserve some kind of medal for that.
Congrats on having an IX, I'm jealous.

yeah over here in canada we got quite a dumping as well and at one point it was all ice..

no problems with the ix and snows on all 4 corners. will post a vid the next time around we go sliding around the parking lot..

The other day here, it was a huge layer of snow with ice under it. Made for a bumpy ride. All the side streets were plowed in with a good two feet of snow right at the entrance. I had to go down one of the side streets to pick up a friend and I was quite amazed I was able to get over the drift and get down the street. I even made myself laugh by stopping and starting again.

I went out to do some donuts here in westerville Ohio, and the first thing i think of when i got in the lot was , o shit im not going to get out. Needless to say my dads Dodge Ram was pulling me out of that the next day.
