Truth...I'm pretty sure he was the first Mtech II AND the first e36 based 5 lug swap. Makes me feel just as old...I hate the internet. Whatever happened to that guy? Clearly his car looks the same...
+1 I feel really old remembering that car. Still like it though.
Dave was most likely the first to do M tech II on his Vert and he had the M20 stroker.
Huh? he had a white on white M technic appearance package car. I think Eric and Andre (NY) (they both have E39's and post on Bimmerforums) were two of the first guys to install imported M tech 2 kits.
Edit: oh yeah, can't forget Arinuts!

Same here... old school. His site and mods helped lead the way for lots of people at the time.
He's chasing the $ in the Arizonan real estate market.

Andre wishes his kit was a real M-Tech II. It was a fake, and it fit like shit. I hated that motherfucker, I'm so glad he sold his car and got the fuck out of the E30 scene. Did anyone ever his his under-hood shots? It was a bone-stock eta that looked like it had been sitting at the bottom of a dry lake bed since the crusades.
