    here we go again....

duct taped the (broken) squirrel cages on the blower motor.

Didnt install the blower motor resistors properly

broke the upper housing on the HVAC case that houses said blower motor

used clear RTV to hold it all together

Needless to say, I need a new upper HVAC housing and blower motor....

On this one... nothing really. The PO had great taste and some real mechanical ability.

The PO of my car did absolutely nothing to it. For 216k miles.

          That would qualify.

Sounds like mine, except they didn't attempt to fix it. :/

My PO duct taped all of the vacuum lines to their fittings and to seal some leaks too. The ES valence was unpainted and held on with packing tape and the Racing Dynamics rear valence is held on with wood screws. Plus he had those ugly ass BavAuto "euro" tails installed and gave me a set of Depo angel eyes (thankfully uninstalled - I sold them as soon as I got the car home).

He wanted to swap a turbo s14 in too, I'm glad I rescued the car before he could fuck that up with his high quality build skills.

My interior was strikingly mint, besides a coffee stain on the passengers floor, but the guy must have offroaded this poor car judging by the dented floorboards. I have two spots where the floor is higher than its supposed to be, my p/side rocker and fuel tank is bashed in from I guess a tree stump, and somebody repainted the car from the front doors foward, so my roof, trunk, rear doors, and quarters are faded and the front shines.
                But, it was 700 bucks

                    1. OP (or a mechanic) decided that the starter really only needed one bolt to hold it in place, and neglected to put that SOB bolt in. I burned a half hour feeling around trying to find a bolt that wasn't there

                    2. They lost a 10mm wrench in the engine compartment that I didn't find for three years :nice:

                    3. When they installed the stereo, they ran normal speaker wire throughout the entire car, neglecting the built in and perfectly good wiring. They then attached this to the original harness, and spliced the original harness into the harness for the headunit :loco:. There were at least 3 individual wires for each speaker, all of them connected with either electrical tape or those little twist caps.

                    4. Installed a remote for the locks, but left all the wires at the factory length of a gazzilion feet, and left all the extra unneeded wires attached as well. They stuffed it all up under the dash, easily tripling the amount of wire around the steering column.

I know there were other things, but I don't recall them right now...

Oh yeah, my front valance had a bunch of wood screws in it, probably to help hold on the lip piece that the car didn't come with. I guess they didn't help...

I wont comment on this. My truck has about 4 10mm sockets under the intake manifold (open valley, not inside the motor) because Im too lazy to pull it off and recover them.

Ripped out the head unit, and left the wires all over the place.

Cut a big @$$ hole in the back seat.
