My imagination but are Honda S2000's

ignorance, yes tq helps, but deff not needed. lol. Have you ever heard of an AE86 and a little motor called the 4age? or a rotary? pretty sure those are popular too. Or how about a sr20det motor? CA18det? All 4 cylinders or no cylinders.

If some one can drift a 240 with a single cam ka24 that makes less then 100 hp, I think a s2000 will be fine. lol

While i havent had the pleasure to drive an M42. I have owned a bunch of turbo RX-7s and NA 7s and compaierd to those FCs and FDs the S2k can hold its own. Can you list the things that make it bad for you? Why not just bash the S14 while were here too.

F20C/F22 is more like the bmw S14. And really you don't have to rev it higher than 3-4k rpm in normal driving. Gearing.

I want one in white with the red interior. I think they look good. My jetta is only a 4cly and it has enough torque to make first gear useless if I want it to. So a bit of head work and I'm sure the s2 could do the same. A cam and chip, some good tires, hard top, and stiffer clutch and I would rock one all day. I hope prices keep falling so I can nab one in a few years.

There are things I love about having owned an M42, and there are things I have not. I can tell you from driving an S2000 more than a handful of times, I see the same exact thing in the Honda.

Its true though, if you're partial to the lowTQ of a 4 cylinder which alot of people are, then go for it.

Ive driven a couple of them hard, and city/highway driving. Its alot of fun to drive, and it begs you to beat the crap out of it. Couple things I noticed:
- With the top up, my head was hitting (Im only 6'0)
- Both cars had clutches that wer'nt tough enough for the power the car has. The second one had only 15k on it so chances are the clutch was fine.
-well balanced
-brakes were good
-great power up top
-6 speed is nice, the gearbox feels like a arcade game (in a good way)

Overall awsome car but I would never drive it everyday. If I did buy one Id hard-top it, put a tougher clutch in it, R-comps, call it a day.

Sure it's plenty fun in the track... the few times you'll have the chance to get it out there still doesn't really make up for the fact that the car is pretty terrible everywhere else.

It's like a Formula 1 in the sense that unless you're already up in the high revs and driving it to it's full potential, the car will be completely useless.

Whether you see that as a compliment or not, that's up to you :p
