I like the lip on my 85 e. I like the is with a splitter look the best, but I am not going to put that on a car that isn't worth twice as much as that set up. This is probably the same for most people that run them.

Just because your car is a shitbox doesn't mean mine is, my tires cost more then your car. Also, I don't see anyone stealing my lip anytime soon unless they travel with at least three different size wrenches with them.

So buy a used I lip and rattle can it. I painted my own shit for years before I had access to pro paint shops and it looked and held up fine.

Using it because is cheap and functional is cool but pretending you're doing it because it's cool is retarded. Admit that it's not cool, say you're a broke ass kid and hang your head in shame and we'll all be fine.

Then go flip some burgers until you can buy a real lip.
