I'll post pics of mine once they're installed. I'll put it in the thread you started.

i really want a set, but right now i dont think i can justify spending $100 (or even $99 lol) for a 15mm drop. i would jump on a some if you could set the price a little lower and i would deff take good pics and document the install!

            Ill be honest with you,

I got drop hats made. FOR 50$ 15mm ones. From a forum member called "Ditchdigger"

I think your price is a bit high my self(100$??). I sent him 50$ and he sent them back done and powdercoated.

He clearly advertises his drop with pics, and before and after of cups...

http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=110518 If you PM him will do them for 50$

            Please leave feedback below, thanks

Oh shit, IDK why I pictured this as being a strut bearing modification. I should have read more. 100 bucks for that is a ripoff.

well the OPs drop hats are made with the 15mm drop instead of some shed engineering on a factory set. because OPs are factory made i think it's worth more, but not 99 bucks.

Well, it's a stamped piece of sheetmetal. It's a niche product manufactured using techniques appropriate for mass production. The stamping die costs are going to be spread over fewer units, so the unit cost has nowhere to go but up.

You could probably machine those out of aluminum for less than 100 bucks at qty 100.

FredK is pretty much right on everything he said; literall everything.
When I saw your sig long time ago for the first time, I took 15min of my time to actually read through the site and find the thread where you put pictures up. And the pics were pretty bad. I lost interest right away from the pictures and figured this to be a waste of time/money.
About 3 days ago I came across your sig again and clicked it. Again, I took like 10 - 15min reading through and looking at your pictures. After that, I actually googled what 15mm to inches were and stared at a ruler for a bit wondering if it's worth it on my car.

Yes, I know it's kind of stupid of me to google the measurement and take out a ruler and such and ponder, but this is how the human mind works towards marketing. YOU have to sell it to us.
If you don't "wow" us (especially with good pictures), we won't respond. I think people will rarely do what I did AND THEN be interested. We're lazy.

For example look at the Volvo Lip... When that person on this forum came up with the idea, he put so many pictures of himself making it fit just right then presented the idea.
Many people who now say "That shit is ugly/stupid" said it was such a good idea and looked awesome on his thread.. and he wasn't even selling them!

And honestly I would love to buy a set, but I can't justify spending $100 like that.

Eh, but you'd have to sell them for $200?

It'd probably be easier to make a bolt on spacer of some sort for $30.

IM curious of his source. total cost of mine was 60$...mine are much thicker and heavier duty. Id trust mine no doubt. if you look at the products its done on both sides and reinforced...

When I heard my friend Jason bought some i cringed cause i was gonna save him so $.

But some people like the OEM look etc

Machining aluminum is easy and cheap. I really bet you could sell 2 for 100 bucks and turn a profit.
