I'm sorry about your experience but this one was a loller for sure:

We politely end the conversation, and thinking about it now, it wasn't an entire waste of a trip. At least I got laid in Laguna Beach the night before.

Well, considering that I have two pending cases right now (one civil, one criminal), that would be a walk in the park for me :).

Glad it was entertaining, I know it was a long read. And David, that's why it's fun to have friends with benefits, LOL.

            Fred,
Adding to the blacklist :( but its good that you put it out there so everyone knows about what type of operation RD is running. I guess on the bright side your credit card will cover it and you ended up with a set of wheels :)

Thanks to everyone. Just to set the record straight, the issue has been resolved. Much to my surprise, I actually received two wheels from Federico last Friday but they were the wrong ones. Bottom line is that I need the wheels to have a net offset of 23mm; I could either use +38mm E36 wheels with a 15mm spacer or +15mm E34 wheels and have them machined down 8mm to +23mm.

Federico sent me one +38mm RGQ wheel that was wrongly machined to around +46mm, making it completely worthless, and another +15mm RGQ wheel that wasn't machined at all. Both were brand new. I called him and he initially offered to find some more wheels and take care of the problem, but I just wanted to finally end the transaction since it was costing both him and me a lot of time and money. I offered to pay for one wheel plus tax and have it machined out of my pocket, but I would return the useless +46mm wheel. He agreed, but said to keep the +46 wheel and do whatever I wanted with it. It's now sitting under my coffee table as a centerpiece.

I was wrong about him, he obviously took too long and made too many mistakes along the way, but tried to make things right in the end.

Oh, and Saul, SCU has some really hot girls. :D

That really made me smile. I'm so glad things worked out for you.

Thanks Josh. But if I had to do it again, I obviously would've got something else ;).

What a hassle. Fred, it seems you have the worst luck with anything BMW related. Hang in there bro, your car is awesome. I like the RGQ styling. Kinda reminds me of the first time I saw RGR's on a red E30 M3 in European Car...just badass. It is cool to have wheels are aren't so common too.

Yeah he did, but he still offered to help find another wheel and said if I sent him the +15 wheel he would machine it at no charge. Most people would say too bad at that point, so I'll give him credit for that.

Thanks Barry, it'll be all done one day :). I've had some really bad luck with buying things in general; you should hear about some things I've bought from good sellers over at the SR20 forum. But yeah, it'll be cool once they're on :).
