most of you COULDN'T pay $19k for it, if you wanted to or not.
And you could?
Face it, its true. Most of the guys on this board are here because they can own an enthuisest based car for a few grand. Comming up with 19k is tough for people in the age group of this board.
That car is worth 19k.
Hell, I wouldn't sell mine for under $20k.

That's a lot of money, I'd check it out. If it's clean enough to eat off, then maybe it's worth that much. I don't like the E46 rims though.
My friend got a bone stock E30 M3 from the orginal WOMAN owner this fall with about 70,000 miles. Guess what he paid. $11,000. Sure it had some bodywork done, but still that's a good deal.
yea, the 15k rule is out the window. the other day, some chump offered me 17k. made me feel good.
Man and your car is always so unbelievably dirty, lol. jk, Shahe.
Lets not fool ourselves. Not many 17-23 yr olds have 19K to put down for a car by legal means, sometimes even other wise. And if it werent legal means, its doubtful youd drop it on this car or be on this board, haha. :)

i got a feeling she might not have known what she was sitting on... or rather she has no clue if she sold it for that little... m3 ryan has it right, they are way more expensive then people think... in current trim i wouldn't let mine go for anything under 25k.....

I was actually talking about the silver one, but the red car is the same story. It had about 65,000 miles on it and he got it from the orginal owner for $11,000.
Nice car and it's a rare color. If the interior is flawless, paint/body is perfect, well maintained, no problems, no serious accidents, it could be worth 19K to someone.
"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
I plan on getting a mid 90's M3 down the road, and it will cost less than 19k
Itll also be a dime a dozen and continue to lose value, unfortunately. but definitely more of a daily driver and more comfortable and cushy. 330/2is's, I mean E36 ///M3s are more comfortable, I suppose. :)
there are alot of E36 M3s here in germany that are worth alot more than E30 M3s. Not that I like the E36 platform either. Here in germany where the majority of the E30 M3 are, they dont sell for under 10,000 euros usually either-thats about $12,000. I paid $15,000 for mine 3 years ago, and it needed every piece of rubber replaced(engine and suspension wise)
I, too am looking for an E30 M3. I am able to be very, very patient. The NADA book on a 1990 M3 with 80K is $9800. Sooner or later, I'm gonna find one whose owner doesn't know what a hot ticket these are. I'm gonna offer book. I can always go up from there. The other rule, besides the M3 $15,000 rule is that the sooner you want it, the more you will rationalize paying. I can wait!
