My friend got ticketed for the same stupid thing.

He was making a right turn into a left turning lane right at a freeway exit / intersection at a street light. There is no way to signal across each lane (properly) when there is traffic coming off the off ramp. He had to pay the fine. Don't recall how much.

With all your detective work, I'd say you have a chance of getting it waved. Just hope the judge is understanding.

in Ontario the Judge would not allow a drawing even for illistration purposes, unless done by a professional.

Been there done that, I wanted to give the judge a better idea of the intersection, Crown objected on some grounds that im not qualified bah bah, and it cannot be used as evidence in court..........dumb fag.

Speaking of BS tickets, I got ticketed for making a right turn at an intersection that had a GREEN RIGHT TURN ARROW. The ticket claims I turned right at a red light, when in fact, it was a green arrow.

I'm screwed. Well, actually, my friend who was pulled over in the same situation at the same time as me (he was in front) got it thrown out. He showed a video of how long the traffic light I got pulled over for stays red. The video shows that at any given time, there is only a three-second period at which I could have ran a red light. So I'll see where that takes me.

Bullshit traffic violations suck. I blew by a cop going way to fast, but he didn't have any radar equipment, so he gave me a reckless driving ticket, failure to yield right of way, and a bunch of other shit. I went to court, admitted that I was going too fast, and that the other charges are bogus. The whole thing was dismissed, the cop went red in the face and stormed out.
