No, I think you might have missed the point. The guy is not a scammer, he is a flake. While they appear to be the same thing in the moment, I think that you can see now that he's just a space cadet. A phone call to the police probably would've done the trick and could've been sorted out much easier after you got your stuff. The call to the FBI could've waited at least a week after the call to the police.

Well the guys that sent him money didnt know the difference at the time. Whats the difference anyway? True, the PD call probably wouldve been enough. But at the time noone knew that he was posing gay on facebook and was easily accessible. He couldve been any average scammer. Maybe Yan's been ripped off before, (like me) and wanted to slam the kid, who knows. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but in this case it seemed he would of tried to slide if they had just let it go. "ah fuck it, its only a couple bucks" - Kind of thing.

i got the Wii in today. its dirty with blue and yellow paint marks, the controllers are stained, one of them is cracked and taped up with clear packing tape to hold it together. The dude told me it was in good shape and like new.

ITS MISSING ALL CABLES. no power cord, nothing. I will take pics of this and post it up.
