I'm stoked to see what the ft-86 is all about, I'm a die hard toyota guy but there haven't been any new sporty cars to get exited about since I bought my Tacoma 10 years ago.

I had heard about a baby Buggati that was in the hush hush works years ago, I'd love to see that one.

lol new cars to be excited about? Seriously? I can say that not a single new car has any interest to me whatsoever. Anything past like 06 is trash. Maybe not technically but as far as looks and whatnot go they all look almost identical to me.

        It's sad.

I think the only new car i like at all it the SLS gullwing. it is the only one they looks decent. You know why it looks decent? because it is a remake of a classic car. Nowadays, car designers have no taste at all. All the new designs ( not cars based on old cars) are butt fucking ugly. And if they manage to create something cool, the production model is always watered down compared to the concept, because of all the safety regs. case in point: the challenger and the camaro, both concepts were true coupes ( No b-pillar) but then came the gov and they said it had to have the b-pillars for roof strength in case of a roll over i think it was. but the main problem is, car designers have no taste anymore. Note the evolution of the aston DB. the design style reached it beautiful peak with the DB5, and has been on a downward slope ever scene. each new model getting worse and worse. another beauty to ugly story is the porsche 911. the last good looking 911 was the 993 series. because for the 996, they changed the roof line, which fucked up the profile. the 997's are even worse than the 996's. i dont want to imagine what kind of god awful ugly the next generation 911 will be.

Yup! I've driven a few (I got your sarcasm ;)). But my gawd, I drove a pristine, I mean 28k original miles pristine e39 M5. I'd choose an e39 M5 over an e60 M5 if I had the chance. Or I'd take that e60 M5, sell it, and then buy and mod the e39 M5.

They ALL look the same!!! I swear to god. The only thing that sets a BMW off from the rest is the damn badge and grill. That's it IMO.

E39 is cool and everything but not anything to get to excited about, E34 is amazing but the E60 you cant beat the power/engine note and the handling isn't bad either, its just they threw a lot of technology in it now

Out of all the M5's made, my interest goes like this: E28, E39, E60, & E34. Yes the E60 M5 has gobbs of power, but it, like you said, is filled with technology. It's just a personal preference I suppose.

The reason i have so much love for the E34 M5 is the amount of power they squeezed out of that thing in the early 90's a friend of mines dad has a 1991 on turbines and every time i ride in that car i can't get over the engine note, it also handles pretty well.
