Man that sucks. Good luck in finding a good shell, I'd say jsut keep driving it threw the winter then start looking for a new shell I'd say if the rocker didn't get bent it could be fixed but the only way I'd think it could be fixed would be to cut the floor and rocker out of a donor car and weld it in.

Damn..That sucks Erik :( I'm surprized that this happened to you. :letitout:
Keep ur head up man.. It'll all work out in the near future.
          Atleast you are ok.

Andre: Erik said that he only has his e-30 in his possession. That's why he was driving the e30 in the winter. I only have 1 car. I'm driving my e-30 in the snow rigth now. I just put the snows on it friday. I hate winter driving but My internship requires me to drive every m/w/f from campus to work 30 min away. once dec 31 comes..my internship is over..and my car will see it's annual garage time.
*Also snows really make a huge difference...on friday my bro ( slammed 88' E28 535iS) out on our snows and drove around in the snow for the fun of it. We went into a empty parking lot and had a great time doing >180s. when normally driving they are excellent performing tires in snow (Yokohama gaurdex 600's and 720's )

But can't let it go to waste... How much you want for your Tail Lights?
did u make them yourself or you bought them? Because i know how to make them the easy way, but wondering if you did them the way i prefer which is the complicated/hard way

Hate to break it to ya pogiboy9, but if he did decide to part it out, those tail lights wouldn't fit on your 84 325e. ;)

Good luck with the car man, definately a pretty car. Again, hope everything turns out for you.

With those tails, your rear is hot kinda like Carmen Electra/J. Lo/ [Insert favorite female celeb] !

I mentioned it on other threads, but i'm really sorry to see an E30 suffer, especially one as nice as yours.

Hopefully you can make it through somehow, either finding another project E30 or something. Roadfly, Turnermotorsports, BMWCCA classifieds are all really great places to look for used E30s when you're ready. Best of luck to your Erik!

And as for all those motorists who didn't stop: :curse: !
I pulled over just past the exit ramp on Thanksgiving, and some nice lady stopped within like 90 seconds to see if we needed help and offered her cell phone. I was just switching drivers, but it was the thought that counts.

That's how people should behave, pulling over to help. HELL, if someone is possibily injured, you better pull over!

Tranny and motor will be sold and you all will be notified accordingly in case you want anything :P

Happy sliding and watch out for mean people, if u don't have snows; don't drive at all ;)
So sorry man so sorry. Holy crap I can't believe that happened. That sucks so bad. At least you have that one last hot photo shoot to remember it with. The shot with the abandoned brick building is my desktop wallpaper :( Mine's the same color, year, everything minus the sex motor and tranny. If it makes you feel any better, a deer ran into my front p. fender and destroyed it (not covered by insurance either). A week later, a proff at school backed into my d. rear quarter panel (while my car was parked) and I've been hounding his insurance company for a month. Let me know if you don't keep the bumpers for the new one, since they're the same color as mine anyway (still have the 88's on). Goodluck finding a replacement. You never know, you could end up getting something you'll like better if that's possible.
