New vert DD . is it worth fixing

This is a 87 325i 5sp vert with 140k original miles . Lachssilber-metallic with red interior. i got it from previous owner at the dealer where i work at , he didnt want it after buying his new bmw. the car needs some work but im still thinking if its worth keeping for a while. the car drives great very smooth m20 and great cluth. the car needs a new top , front bumper and a good detail . what do you guys think.

I'd say save it, doesn't look like it needs much. If you decide to unload it though, there's a small chance I'd be interested. My first e30 was the exact same combo as that car, and I've always wanted to recreate it.

I still have the original window sticker around somewhere, $34k back in '87!

that car is really close to being great! it looks like you just need euro bumpers with valence and a new fender. drive it with the top down when its sunny and throw a tarp over it when it looks rainy until u can put a top on it. verts are the best car to have in spring and fall!

Looks like the PO took it over a rock or a curb... I'd check the front suspension for straightness if I were you.

Save it!!! It needs to lose the diving boards anyways...just get euro bumpers + late valence...lil bit of bondo work on that front fender...or go to pick n pull and get a fender 4 cheap
