    Philly Newb (pic heavy)

Just picked up my first E30 a few months ago. Actually, got it for my wife for our first anniversary, but i drive it more than she does, so...

1989 325i. Couldn't love it more. Great styling, fun to drive. the car is in incredible shape, 117,000 miles. The interior and exterior are almost perfect with the exception of a few tears in the driver's seat. Other than that, no complaints, this car is awesome.

I'd like to put some 17", 5-spokes on, maybe widen the stance a bit, find some is side skirts, but beyond that, i'll probably keep her stock. If anyone knows of a good set of 5-spokes that work well with these cars, any and all advice is appreciated. And if there's anything going on in Philly, club meets or whatever, we're in. I'm all ears

    Thanks,

    Jake

17s are too big, imo. 15s and 16s really good.

          nice car, congrats.

Correct, not in Philly...in Ardmore, west of the city.

17s too big? good to know. i'll adjust my search accordingly. I've seen a lot of real nice wheels in the gallery, but i'm trying to figure out the bolt patter, offset, if spacers are needed, etc, etc, etc...i'm still learning.

              Thanks for warm welcome.

eh. the only downside to 17" wheels is weight and cost. the tire selection is way better.

IMO the e30 can pull off 17s, but it needs a good drop to do so.
