Interesting "heritage" section on bmwusa.com

I found a pretty cool section in the new 3 series promotion page that includes all the previous 3 series, with old tv commercials, pictures, specs, etc...

Go here and select "explore the all new 3 series", then select "heritage" at the top left. Alot of sections aren't available yet, but they have 5 old E30 commercials to watch. :)

I have always wished BMW would make an Audi-like commerical where they link the e30 and e36 to the new e46, and show the evolution.
*Audi's commercial shows the Quattro morphing from an old GruppeB S1 rally car hauling ass around a track. When I saw it, it made me want to sell everything and get an Audi.

yeah, only 1 commercial was for a 325i, the rest were for the 325e or 318.

Its insteresting they focused almost exclusively on the pre-facelift models. The splash car was an 87, the specs were an 87, the pics were early euros, and the commercials were all early. There was just one pic of a facelift 318is.
