its like $50 bucks a pound for r12 and your car needs 2 pounds, as long as it doesn't leak that is cheaper than a r134 conversion

^ exactly. Fuck AC, your windows roll down, your sun roof opens, and your car goes fast for a reason.

when its 100 degrees and you're sitting in traffic with the windows down and the fan on full blast sweating your balls off in your leather sport seat you will want A/C. I know this because it gets that hot here where I live in Canada in the summer and my A/C doesn't work.

Having said that A/C is for fat people and I won't be keeping it on my swap.

My car's been converted to r134a. I'll pull out the stack of receipts in a bit and let you know how much it was in a bit.

I don't mind sweating. It's natural. I think it's weird that people have grown so attached and accustomed to things like A/C.

You can do a full install of Freeze12 for under $100. The kit is $70 retail, can be had for about $40 on ebay.

It is colder than R12 and 100% environmentally "safe", and safer to use than freon.
