I have access to some good condition rear tail lights if you need them, probably can get the bumper too, but shipping for that would be a Bitch.

Pushed the shock absorber through the trunk floor, that shock absorber is connected to the frame! so that doesn't seem good. Ask me how i know : (

the most damage there is to the frame is where it popped the rear bolt through the hole it attaches to (weld a washer there to reinforce it) the rest it mostly broke the welds loose at the joint, so bend it back into shape, weld it, and add a doubler there for strength, These shocks are mounted in a pretty cheezy way, so it shouldnt be that bad. worst case, I sawzall the section off a junker, and weld it onto mine. the whole area is nothing more than several layers of sheet metal, so it wont require a frame jig to unfuck it

my friend and i have a parts car thats down to its frame right now. we were going to cut off what was useful (to us) like the radiator core support and junk the rest. im sure it wouldnt be a problem cutting off the entire rear section of the car and sending it to you, for free too. but you'd have to cover shipping and that would be all the way from MD. we could put it on a pallet and do freight shipping. probably would be $150-$200. its also a late model, so you could swap to plastic bumpers. in the rear anyway. too bad you arent local.

        looks rough, sorry.

I hear you on the local thing, but for right now I think I will try to find one local. Funding is a bit short at the moment with me moving and all.

sad to hear that, i used to race a 79 toyota corrola against my friends 84 mazda truck down indian school road between 56th and 44th streets after 3am (after work delivering pizza)...and being next to the huge canal, made it feel like a track.

i also cannot forgive red light runners, seen more than i can remember.

            now, i have to ask.
how come you didn't fallow them, or anyone else ?
if i saw someone doing that, i would fallow at a leasurely distance and video as much as possible (or at least take pix)

I was making a turn, and by the time I could have gotten swung around, they were gone. Fuckwit had to be doing about 70 or so, and I didnt stand a chance. It was about 5:45 Pm, so rush hour was in full effect.

did you live in the arcadia area? that's where i grew up. i used to FLY down indian school comming home from the bars + denny's at 3-4 am. raced a customer in my jetta doing 110mph and split the lanes around my friends. young and stupid i know. i was at home in bed by the time they passed my house to see if i had crashed.

pima and indian school is the rez if you are going noth on pima and scottsdale if you are going south. it is a weird deal.

I was turning from Northbound Pima, onto Westbound Indian School. Middle of rush hour, so no chance of a quick swing around.

As for the parts, it will have to be on hold for a bit, as im in the process of moving. my tools are at one house, and the car is at the other, and shit is everywhere. After the first of the month, I may be able to entertain being able to look at this thing again, until then, its gonna have to look like shit.
