    So I'm driving down the highway, and........(pic inside)

    BAM!!!!

    My rear passenger tire blew out. Wasnt too bad, at first i thought I hit something, then the car just started vibrating like woah so i pulled over. Thankfully I had an extra spare because my original spare is still in the car from 1989 never used, and I dont trust it. Unfortunatly I was on my way to a car meet a few hours away so my car looked like shit with 3 good rims.

    The Tire was a Bridgestone Potenza RE750 with 4 months of use, hardly worn. nothing was rubbing on the inside, i checked. My warrenty better freakin cover this one!

    PS: i forgot to add that on the same trip my hood emblem flew off of the car too!, other than that no damage.

    Gees, parents have had a couple sets of these with no issues...hopefully this is a super rare occurence.

            HAHA... that's great, but seriously glad you're alright, shit can get nasty when tires blow out....

              I had a blow out on a new ES100 too. Its probably because the pressure was low and you didn't notice it, and the tire got too hot. Mine was also on the rear pass. side, except mine was at 85mph on the highway in the left lane with no shoulder, I had to make it over to the right side.

                Yea, i got screwed on this. I go in to the tire place today, and they tell me it was my fault and that warrenty wont cover it. I call my dad(he works a block away) he comes. Now they will give me a new tire for 50% off. Not good enough(I wanted 2 new tires). My dad calls one of the guys in his office, some attorny legal person whatever. We get down the nice little settlement of I pay for 50% of a new tire and thats it. The shop also has to front my bill for getting my rim checked out.

                OH well, I was doing about 80-85ish, but had a nice big shoulder.
