bah I actually dig the car.... I got to test drive one on friday.... really impressed. ( obviously I'm not expecting performance from a SAV ) It would be an awsome daily driver SAV.

by the way, can I nominate myself for the most unknown car in r3v? :P stock cars get no recognition

:? TJ how are you going to and knock a man for having aspirations to get an M50 but have to stick w/ an M20. If I recall weren't you going to convert to a 5 speed tranny back in the day? Not trying to be an ass here, but seriously man. Dont get all brutal about it. Everyone's projects fall through.

Yeah, I saw RUI's car, it is a no-longer a BMW in my opinion, UGLY!!!

Looks like a Frankenstein experminent!!! It was nice when I saw it 2-3 years ago, until he overdid it.

I wait a week and still more ass kissing... anyone can save money and buy parts... hell if my dad was Pete McHenry I'd have an S50 in my E30 too... sorry Stu but $6.25 @ Panera does not put an S50 in ANYONES E30...

dedication is doing ALL the work your damn self with no lift or air tools in 30 degree weather under a car port and spending almost every dime you can muster with no job JUST to get your car running... that is dedication...

... wish I was talking about me cause then my car would be running

-Just for reference TJ and Brian- my project has NOT fallen through only been delayed because of 3 reasons:

                        a) my E30 is my daily driver so I could not afford to have it parked any longer than it already has been
                        b) I didn't have enough money to buy the engine I wanted much less pay someone to put it in
                        c) see paragraph 1

Hard to judge how clean a car really is from just pics, but I'd have to say Mike Swale's M3 because he's really invested a LOT in that car. I also like Cramer and Mariano's M3's as well. Ryan doesn't get a vote for the simple fact that we have the same color M3 and I like my car better J/K ;)
I've always liked Matt's car even before the FI conversion and Dave's iC was a nice car as well.

Other honorable mentions Alex, AndreNY (the way it used to be), TJ, revo, Gunni, Ryan Stewart, Trent, etc.

That's all i can remember but i'm sure i forgot someone.

Hell yeah. Theres something to be said about people who do all their own work. And as far as working in 30 degree weather, I cant tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but I did it last year in my garage and it was not fun at all, I bought a kerosene heater at Home Depot thie year for $175. Now its like 65 degrees in there every day, well worth the investment.

You have a rather distorted view of the "story of stu's engine swap."
