You're right I have no idea how it works, I've never had to replace a car battery.

but I've sold hundreds of batteries if it makes you feel better (worked 2 years now at Advance Auto, now I'm at O'Reilly Auto)

I was being dead serious, hahaha, I've owned four cars, and never once had to replace the battery.

I had to replace the batteries in my E39 M5 and the E30 325is within a month. Cheapest price for the huge M5 battery was around $200 and $100 for the E30. The prices for batteries are high, but what can you do? They are necessary.

Fuck optima. My next battery will be Deka.

I just got my optima a month or two ago. We'll see.

Visually it's looks really well made. Even the plastic is top notch(fanciest battery I've ever see - chrome lettering, all that stuff). It spins my starter like a mother fucker. Turned my M30 into a dentist drill when you are cranking - and if you know the M30 - that's saying something.

I prefer things manufactured in Mexico rather than China but with proper quality control a fucking monkey can manufacture just about anything anywhere, it's not rocket science. Nothing is made in this country anymore.
