OP: i bought a battery for my first E30 for 125$ when i was 16 years old. I THINK you can scrape together some cash and make a purchase that will last you longer than 1.5 years.

or spend 50$ 4 times over 6 or 6 years and end up paying more than you would have if you got quality now.

I've spent a lot of money on batteries and bought cheap batteries; they all last for about the same amount of time, but the higher priced batteries have better warranties. Whatever... they're usually prorated so by the time it dies, they give you almost nothing. Cheap batteries almost always work out better.

Yep, it was hilarious the other day my friend was like what are those green zipties on the front of your car? I was like oh my cabs? (car nub)

Good for you! Pat yourself on your back! I only got paid 140 dollars last week and I had other things to take care of. It was my first week of work in a while, I only get paid 10 bucks an hour. This week I'll get a new one if I need too as the marine battery is working fine.

However I do have a question about the fact that it is a deep cycle battery and if it's ok to run it for a little bit?

it should work for a while (week or so)

it MAY hurt the deep cycle batt tho, they aren't made to put out high-amp currents (400+ amps)

Alright, I am glad you answered this. I'll just pick one up next week when I actually get a decent paycheck.
