Knee dragging in a Honda Goldwing

Now I'm not a motorcycle expert. In fact I've never even driven one. But I do know the Honda Goldwing is the Buick Roadmaster of the 2-wheel universe. Huge, heavy, soft, and only driven by people who belong to AARP. So when a guy brings one to a race track and starts dragging knees through the corners, people take notice:

hard to pass those 2-wheel'd trucks....

not to sound shitty, but he didn't NEED to hang off that far of the bike to negotiate most of those turns. A Goldwing has plenty of leverage since its bars are so friggin' wide, you can throw it around like a big enduro or mega-motard.

props to the rider for riding it like he stole it.

hahaha, he had to travel a good distance to hang from side to side.

Further proving the point that it's the rider, not the bike.

You don't hang off the bike for leverage.

That guy controls shifting mass better than most BBWs on a dance floor.

He looks like a pro. He has to hang off that much so he can keep the bike as upright as possible cuz the GW has really low pipes. Plus they aren't going that fast. The R6 with the camera doesn't get into that much of a lean angle.

there was a mechanic working for Freehold Honda back in the early 2000s and when we rode together with bunch of other guys on Ducatis, he would show up on a Gold Wing and do crazy wheelies and just smoke the other guys in the twisties, that was just amazing to watch
