one of my friends has had a 2.5 rs for years... it's bone stock but it's not that bad to drive. In a straight line it's not as fast in a straight line just based on butt-dyno results, and i'd compare it to a stock iS in the corners. The balance of the car is pretty good, brakes are adequate. It's got a pretty dead feel IMO, but it really shined up in the mountains on mud/dirt back roads ala rallye style... go figure a scoobie felt good in a rallye enviornment :)

I used to own a 1999 WR Blue 2.5rs Coupe. That car was awesome. It had STi V5 body work and STi V5 suspension and control arms. It was a freaking great car. I would highly recommend it.Comment

My buddy has one, his is a 2000 though but he runs a 13.6 quarter mile all motor, a few mods, (header, intake and cams) It handles great and is a sweet ride. I really like them. Subaru is much better than they used to be.Comment
