    California people beware!!!!

    This is a scary idea.

    it won't happen.. it would cost too much to retrofit every car with a GPS device, and not everyone will want to be tracked either. besides, can you imagine how easily you could circumvent this?

          I doubt it would actually happen.....we're already one of the highest taxed states in the Union. There may be a bunch well intentioned, do-gooder, hell-bent on the eco system tree huggers out here in Calif., but they are vastly out-numbered by the SUV contigent....and those folks are paying through the nose for fuel already. In theory it sounds good, but in reality it could be quite the opposite. If it made it as a ballot measure during an election, it would be soundly defeated.
