    good *light* 16inch rim? 15?

Right now i have big crome monsters that came witht he car when i bought it. As i found out auto-xing and at track days, that extra 900lb at each conner may be slowing me down just a bit.

I would just go for 15 inch but the crome monsters have fresh avs es 100's (less than 1000miles)

so i would like to keep them if its a not a big deal, but if not could you reccomend a good lighter weight rim?

Kosei's...... has no one mentioned them? E30 fitment in 15 inch
or run spacers in VW offsets (ET35 on 17x7.5, need 15mm spacers).

Kosei's are light, and reasonably cheap from Tirerack.com

yeah, and they're only ~$315 EACH! yikes.
I guess they'd be worth it though... 11lbs is frickin light.

I was going to buy a set for my E30 about a year and a half ago, at the time on TireRack, they were like $148 each. The next week when I go to order them, they went up to $315. I went to Les Schwab to ask them why the sudden price hike (they can order through TireRack) and they said it was because a lot of amateur race teams found out about how light and strong they are (not to mention cheap) and went on a buying frenzy. Therefore SSR nearly doubled the price of them.

$148? are you positive about that? Cause that is ultra cheap for what the rims are, and I'd be suprised if they sold them for little more than mid grade cast wheels....

kosei's are available for the ix in 16x7.5. You'd likely need a set of 15mm spacers on an is.
