$20 for all 4 mounted and balanced out the door, and they feel bad about charging me that much.

local spanish tire place is $10 to mount and balance any normal tire. $20 to mount and balance any low profile tire.

never had a problem with them scratching my rims.

Place I go to has never given me any problems, and I've never bought a single tire from them. It's like $17 a tire, but they've got a DSP9000 (Road force) balancer.

That definitely does not fly in any shop in FL. Even shops that sponsored my car wouldn't let me touch it. Only one that I can think of would actually let me personally mount the tires, and I've been hanging around them for ages.

I don't see why any shop would turn you down to mount tires, even if you didn't buy it with them. If anything, maybe Sears, Jiffy Lube, and those types of stores might hassle you. But any regular tire shop will take you in.

Drive around to the back of any town fair tire and get somebody's attention, $40 out the door. Or go to the desk and talk them down to $80 out the door. I'll be able to mount and balance soon, got nice hunter machines, but we need to get another breaker box wired up cuz we're out of ports to wire the balancer to. I can mount them for ya now but you'd have to bring them somewhere to balance, PITA I know. Shops in walpole
