How about a 1987 325e 4 door manual, with 140,000 miles? Found one at a used car lot, they want $3000, but I think that's a little high

Yes this e30 is my baby and I have over 14k in it also the longest car I have ever owned its worth way more to me than any $$$. But realistically I think a good fair price is 8k

If you want to know what your car is worth, try to buy one exactly like it.

This is best post in thread, it sounds like a nursery rhyme.

Begs the question though...if your lips move when you read you're stupid, if you read things out loud what are you?

I wouldn't sell mine for less than $13-$15k. Is it worth that? No where near that. (I'd say it's worth maybe $4k-$5k as it sits) Is it priced to sell? No - I don't want to sell it. So, it would take a ridiculous amount of money for me even to consider it. :)

This is so very very true. To your typical motorist, our cars aren't worth much to them - the lower end of the value scale at best. As enthusiasts of the marque & model, we place a higher premium on it.

With that said, my 1991 with its 207K drivetrain, in need of a tune up and oil change, B-Sports, IE Stg 3 springs, Stromung cat-back, 15x7 RD wheels with destroyed tires and decent cosmetic condition is probably worth ~$3K in California.....maybe $4K if I put some elbow grease into it and get everything it top working order.
