That was my wallpaper on my work computer for ages and everyone in the office thought it was fucking sex. Boss always said if you turbo or supercharged it he'd send a photographer to the US to run it as a feature in the magazine.

You do know GC8 STi alloy arms are cheap and common in Japan? You wouldn't get a track increase, but it's a straight fit (with sti end links)

That I didn't know. Also, thanks for posting that in a "regret sale" thread...

I regret selling my 62 Impala SS

I only sold it cause i wanted another Mopar. I bought a 72 Dodge Demon 340 right after i sold it. The Impala had a ZZ4 crate engine with a powerglide. But was in need of a 4 speed BADLY! There are a few others i look back and wonder why i sold them. 70 AMC AMX, 70 Dodge Dart Swinger, and many others....

I regret selling my 1972 Nissan 720. It was my first vehicle, and she was in good shape. I ended up selling her because my great grandma gave me her 72 impala with 40k original miles on it. Should have thought it through and figured I was going to pay out the ass for gas.

unfortunately stateside, it's nearly twice as much as the USDM GD STi arms, and you don't gain caster and who said increased track in the front is a bad thing?

Just like why people used to spend a grand on JDM FHI 4pot calipers is beyond me. Just use the 300zx ones which are dime a dozen and can use wider rotors. Just an adapter to mount to the knuckle and gold.

it's all about cost to benefit ratio...yea JDM's are drop in, but good luck finding a good price on them (5 years ago)

it's a little different when we never got the GC wrx/STi's here in the states....

Out here, most guys grab the 4pot Subaru brakes as it is very hard to get engineering approval for caliper adapter brackets on street cars. That and they're cheap and very common (been on all turbo subarus in Oz from 1998)

I swapped my 1989 Toyota Hilux 4x4 for my E30, this e30 is my dream car ever since I was a kid, always wanted one, but it was confusing driving away from the dealer stoked with finally having my dream car but driving away from my Hilux =( something about that car was just different...

Damn it, I love my E30 =D Sorry beautiful ;)

GC alloy arms don't add caster though... they are identical in geometry. If there are alignment sheets stating otherwise, i'd be glad to pass it along on all forums stateside. It all started with the Spec-C arms which were then used on the USDM STi's :)

I regret trading in my 1995 GMC Safari Van which ironically enough looked a lot like the van in the background of this picture. Except it was white. RIP Moby.
