Because imo, it would look pretty damn ugly if you left the sunroof CF pattern. FG is lighter and cheaper, seems like it has best of both worlds.

But for functionality, I would imagine that it would make absolutely zero difference for 99.9% of people here.

Or maybe, I'm missing the point, and I just need to be enlightened.

For all you people saying you have "friends", Ive heard this time and time again. I get people who think they know everything rag on the CF shit on my car because of its imperfections, and they say they can make a better one (not knowing how hard it really is to make one that is quality at a decent price). If its so fucking easy, stop talking, start acting. If you dont want it, dont buy it, but dont talk shit about your cousins husbands second uncles step son being able to make a better one. Then the market would be flooded with this shit if it was easy to make a quality piece.

I could if I wanted to buy why wast my money on a fiberglass part that has a sheet of CF on the top. Why not spend the money on a real CF part fo the same price, weighs less and is strong. i am trying to get it down to 250-275 for cf and 150-175 for the fg.

i know it is kinda pricey, but it is what it is. quality isnt cheap.

250-275 doesn't seem "pricey" to me at all. If you get it down to that, I'm in.

Clearly the CF piece is for show. And if someone likes the part on the car for show purposes, good for them.
