they appear to be depo's which are usually of less than stellar quality. the main complaint seems to be that the lenses fog up do to poor water sealing. this causes them to fog up.

as hw=e said. the depos are really a hit and miss thing. some times you will get a set that is fine and other times a set that leak like a bitch

So I would be better off to continue my hunt for some OE Ellips?

i bought those for my e34. never had a problem with them, they worked great and didn't have a problem sealing. If that is your main concern, just put some clear silicone caulking down around the seal and it should be good

edit* i think i can put together a good set of either though.

while all the oem-sackhangers will tell you different, depo lights are considered some of the better aftermarket lights for most cars (depo makes lights for every car made, almost).

they will fit just fine, they will look good.
i can't vouch for the beam pattern though. just put in some h.i.d.s and call it a day.

The adjusters are also a big pita, depos are hit or miss, they work fine for my e36 but I would find real ones for an e30

yeah, because HIDs are totaly going to solve an optics problem?

I've had both. E30 Depo's are a waste of money. Made in china garbage. EOS.

Ill just shoot for an OE pair, I can find a fairly nice pair for around the same or a little more. Im gonna open them up anyway and properly smoke them probably and put HIDs in them.
