I have came upon this car, owner asking $3900. Car has 230k on the clock.
The pics are attached, and here is some info regarding the car.

Front and rear brakes with oem parts, control arms and bushings, shifter bushing, shifter lever from a z3 1.9, H&R race springs off the e30 m3, HD bilstein shocks, mtech 2 front valance, 16" BBS RS, plastic bumpers.

All the upgrades are presumably done within the last 2 months.

if it has an interior at all I would buy it in a minute, even if the motor is blown! Wish I had room for another car.

mechanicals for these cars are cheap and easy to find, finding a nice car is rare. Go check it out

You can buy a $2500 ride that's in decent shape, and still have to spend a grand fixing things. Hell, the damn wheel on the thing are worth almost $3200. Go for it.

checked out the car today. It's in decent shape, the body is nice and straight, but it will need a paint job. The interior is also alright, no rips or anything like that, i would say about 7/10 for the interior. Engine is alright, not too bad for an engine with 240,000 miles. But im sure i will need a new one with in the year. The wheels look bomb on the car, they were off of a Porsche...the only thing is that the owner was in the process of re machining the wheels, and he did not finish the job, so the wheels need a refinish. Good thing about the car is the suspension is nice and it shifts good.
It will also need a new headliner. And what i thought were original french style headlights happened to be only yellow film. boo..
All in all its a decent car, I will go back on Monday for it. The owner was out of town... sucks...

What do you all think, is it still worth it. from the description?

Looks nice. original BBS? HD Bilsteins are the wrong shocks. Should have Bilstein sports. M Tech 2 front spoiler looks nice. Not hiding any damage I hope. Car looks good but the mileage is high and those rims will make just about any car look nice. Any engine work? Wheel bearings probably are on the way out if they haven't been changed. Clean title? no accidents?

No, no damage. car has a straight body, and all panels are mounted nice. Rims are indeed nice, but need a refinish. Clean Title, no accidents.
Engine has high mileage, but i was thinking of swapping it with a lower mileage engine. Odo, is also broken and will need one of the pins replaced, the one that turns the last digit.

P.S how much does it cost to refinish wheels?

He said he was going to work on this car, but he had a change of plans, got another car, and e30 m3.. or something... The guy sounds a straight up dude... but i never know.

Im gonna go for it. I will post pics when its in my possession.

it just pulls heaver, i will not swap it out, but i have it in my mind... I mean if the engine runs and gives no problems with all the proper maintenance then I have no problem keeping it. Im just saying that it will probably need to get replenished, so might as well swap it...
