So i have 1990 325i 5 spd and shifts hard when cold. Ive been looking everywhere for which fluid to use but no one has answer. I can't tell what kind of label i have on my tranny theres a label but looks faded color.

The way I see it this, Jim Blanton at Performance gearing is arguably the best BMW gearbox guy around. When I got my gearbox back from him there was a big note on the side of it "REDLINE MTL ONLY"
