325i 885 head modification to increase compression

    what is funny though, in the pic of the MM head, it looks like they have made no attempt to unshroud the valves or blend the chamber to the seat. that is basic chamber modification you would do. insted there is a bunch of funky groves in the chamber from an end mill (maybe).

        I heard of this but never seen it, thanks again. Finally someone who knows what Im talking about. This is common machining and welding to HEADS, that Im talking about, ITS CUSTOM,custom. And its cheap as hell, thats why I want to try it to the i head. Sweet pics!

            You do realize that that was a picture of a head that had material REMOVED AND TEXTURED, not added haphazardly, right? And cheap? You must have no idea who or what Metric Mechanic is...

              I do what I need done, modify the way I want, not a f'n sheep. Metric must do the same thing which is cool.
