We were driving. We saw everyone passing the Blazer (it was moving very slow). Someone in the Blazer waved at us like crazy, presumably to wave us on because they were going so slow. Little did we know that there was a T in the road and the Blazer was waving at us to slow down. As we were in the passing lane, a car from the T turned into the oncoming lane, coming at us head-on. We had no choice but to get back into our lane. However, by now the Blazer was now hardly moving. We tried slowing down but the brakes locked. Next thing I knew some dude was swearing at us.

Thats my recollection. As tonytony said, the stop sign/T was just hard to see. It could have happened to anyone.

when I passed the blazer I suddenly realized the car in front me of was coming ot a stop suddenly, come to find out there was a random stop sign up ahead. I didn't know there was a stop sign up ahead until I passed the blazer, and to my knowledge I'm sure clay didn't know there was one either, a lot of us weren't from around there. maybe someone should post a story of what happened so there wont be so much confusion.

So the car was going so slow that Clavin passed him only doing 40mph, and somehow the Blazer outstopped him for the stop sign and he locked his brakes?

Damn thats almost exactly what happened to my eta. I got rear ended by this F150 and it just destroyed my trunk and everything. The truck had nothing on it. That was like 4 years ago. It seems that even if our cars werent lowered most of the bumpers on the road are higher than ours.

That's why they should ban SUV's and pickups if you don't ever pull a trailer or if you live in the city. "Gas shortage! Build bigger car!!" Doesn't make sense at all, and imagine getting t-boned by a pickup. The bumper is at head level.

The blazer did stop way too early. There was a line of us 4 or so at the stop sign, but there was at least 2-3 car lengths between the car in front of the Blazer and the Blazer. I have no idea why they stopped so early, but then again I have no idea why they were driving 35 in a 45.

Thats shit always happens. Not only do they want to drive slower (which is their choice), they insist on making that decision for everyone else. Its like they get all their anger during the week out on frivelous bullshit like that. It makes them feel bigger, I suppose. Never mind that both people could be happy if they just pulled to the side.

If I was Clay I would beat this to death in court. They were driving unsafe and illegally which caused the accident. He has about 20 witnesses too.
