In Canada that might be the going price.

Around the Baltimore area you can reportedly get the part for around $100, with installation being a trivial amount extra. They'll upsell you on the locking strip and gasket to double that.

But the price will vary tremendously because most places know the insurance company is paying and it doesn't matter what they charge. The most expensive places usually have the cheapest glass and attract customers with heavy advertising and kick-backs to cover the insurance deductible.

$110 out-the-door in OC. Non OE glass, obviously.

For Edmonton call glassmasters autoglass. The one on the southside did mine for $199 last spring.

but the glass and do it yourself. i believe their is a writeup, but it is basically:

1)remove the clip at the bottom

          2)pull out the lock strip

          3)pull out the glass

4)spray gasket with windex for a lubricant

5)insert new glass (more windex if needed)

6)reuse black lockstrip or replace chrome lockstrip with a black one (more windex if its dry)

          7)replace clip

          glass should be ~100USD

To reinstall the lock strip..You can use an old dodge lock strip tool with small modification. I made one and have replaced about 4 of them and it works great.
