NEVER let me borrow your car!

Simply put I hydro planed in a curve on the interstate and slid off the road.

Did you ever get a new E30, or was this in some other car?

Maybe you should take up walking. Id suggest sticking to good weather for that too, though.
        Im now E30less.

I live in oregon (read: shitloads of rain each year), and I've never hydroplaned. You guys need some better tires.

I drove once in heavy rain on bald tires.... I got caught, didn't think it was gonna rain.

Anyways I drove cafefully, but I was surprised it didn't hydroplane with all the rain we had, it actually went pretty well, at one point I was doing 140km/h, trying to keep up with a friend, then I just slowed down cus i knew my tires were bad.....Made it home, bought 4 new tires a few days later.

so you were driving in the rain with bald tires.. sweet. would have thought you'd learn your lesson the first time around. maybe the 3rd time is the charm? good luck with that..
