Is this a pusher or puller? - Spal

I meant to buy an electric fan that goes in front of the AC radiator to replace the stock AUX fan. Did I buy the right one? I am only confused because the fan blades go the opposite way of the AUX fan.

it can be either. reverse the polarity to pull or push the fan

Swap power and ground to reverse polarity.

Just switch the wires. Sound simple enough.

Yeh but the fin's on the fan are directional. I think you'd have to flip the blade too.

                There might be a p/n there somewhere...I have a spare spal pusher p/n 30102047.

If you switch polarity the motor will rotate the opposite direction in theory. I didn't know you could just swap them w/o negative effects. Thats kinda cool.

My spal 16" super thin looks just like that and pulls.

It's not always recommended as some electrical devices are directional, but running them in reverse polarity will shorten their lifespan
